Nook for planet: Ogyre
Ogyre for Nook

Nook is partnering with Ogyre, the first global Fishing for Litter platform, which removes waste from the ocean through the daily work of local fishing communities in Italy, Brazil and Indonesia. The partnership aims to remove 2,450kg of marine litter by August 2025, working in the waters of several countries in Italy, Brazil and Indonesia. To support this valuable activity, Nook has produced a customised and certified aluminium thermal water bottle linked to a commercial awareness campaign. The pursuit of beauty is tinged with pink. With the aim of raising awareness among an ever-widening public on the importance of prevention and early diagnosis Nook this year, on the occasion of October, the international month dedicated to the prevention of breast cancer, will be at the side of Fondazione Fondazione Umberto Veronesi with a donation in support of the fight against typical female cancers, namely breast, uterus and ovary.
Fondazione Veronesi is a non-profit organisation set up in 2003 on the initiative of Professor Umberto Veronesi that devotes all its energies to finding new cures for cancer by supporting scientific research of excellence, raising awareness among young people and adults on cancer prevention issues, and promoting the importance of adopting healthy and correct lifestyles.

Since 2017, Nook has been collaborating with Treedom to support their reforestation project. Their main goals include offsetting CO2 emissions, reducing soil erosion, restoring hydro-geological stability, and creating new woodland and agricultural areas that protect regional biodiversity and improve the quality of life of local populations.
Nook contributed by planting the first 100 trees in Haiti. In 2021 and 2023, we marked World Environment Day by adding another 66 trees to the forests of South America and Africa. Today, the Nook forest is made up of 166 trees distributed across the world's most vulnerable regions: a constant commitment to environmental protection.

Reverse Design shares Nook's passion for beautiful, responsibly designed and made.
Reverse Design is an interior design studio based in Verona, Italy, that handcrafts and responsibly creates sustainable and ethical furniture , installations and design objects. The communion of shared values and objectives gave rise to a collaboration for an inclusive handicraft project with a low environmental impact- The project designed by Reverse exclusively for Nook was realised by inmates inside the Montorio prison, in Verona, in the Reverse IN prison economy workshop. A valuable training and work opportunity for the inmates involved . A way of creating new value that also includes the social component, its responsibility towards people and the environment..

Through an approach of respect, sensitivity, responsibility and beauty, Project Quid has recovered textile waste from renowned fashion and textile companies. In an age when production occurs at astonishing speed, Project Quid embraces the importance of recovery, waste reduction and upcycling as core concepts. Quid, through an innovative design and production approach, uses surplus textiles from companies in the fashion industry and transforms them into limited-run collections.
